About Your Speaker

As executive director of EnerCity Collaborative, James works with youth and adult construction-training programs, community-based organizations, and other nonprofits to help professionals find careers in weatherization, residential energy auditing, deep-energy retrofitting, and net-zero building to ensure that BIPOC communities have equitable access to healthy, sustainable, and energy-efficient housing.

James leverages his 13+ years of experience as a building scientist to guide his passions on teaching professionals about energy efficiency and bridging the gap between the medical industry and the built environment.
